Inspiration for this Ficlet: a report in the local paper about an abandoned Explorer that was found by a policeman in a motel parking lot. Being suspicious, he broke out a window and found three dead bodies…all apparently shot in the head.

Very nice, and what sounds like a good source of inspiration.
