Diana’s gown shifted around her ankle as the boat rocked her side to side. She looked at the water, its gray mucky color complemnted the sky perfectly. The sky was not it its hues of blue. Sickly dying trees swayed overhead as the boat continued it journey down the twisting river. Dianna Hayes contemplated her surrounding. Diana Hayes was a girl of higher society. Her thoughts were interuppted by Nate.
“Miss Hayes, it looks as if a storm is on it way, it would best if you went inside.” Nate said staring at her. She was a girl of beauty. With copper curls blowing with the cast of every wind, and blue eyes that were sweet yet dangerously hid something behind those deep pupils.
“If I must.” she replied, a sweet smile gleeming at Nate. She grasped the side of her mauve gown and headed into the ships small cabin.
“If I may ask,” Diana said slyly. “How bad of a storm are you predicting?”
“It hard to tell Miss Hayes, but it would be best to stay inside.” Nate replied.
“Hm, lets wish for the best” Diana grinned.
