The sun casted a glow on Chantelles honey colored skin and her light brown hair blew in wisps around her face. The warmth of her smile semmed to be missing for awhile now and Chantelle would do anything to just be happy again. Her sandals dragged down the walkway as she walked through the park. When somone caught her eye. It couldnt be him she thought.
“Chantelle?” a familiar voice asked. Her face dropped,it was James.
“James!” she said, a fake smile appearing on her face. James left her, broke her heart, and know here he was bringing up more of her twisted past.
“How have you been?” he asked.
“Hm better then when we were together.” she lied, but she wasnt falling for him again, she wouldnt let herself.
“Oh, um thats good.”he replied looking at her, longing for her.
“Well it was nice to see you again, enjoy your day.” she said and contiuned to walk, leaving James ther dumbfounded. It was to late for him to try to apologize. She was over him. Right?
