And The Rain Comes Down
Lisa ran down the street, the rain soaking her dress and blonde hair.
“Why now??” she screamed as she ran barefoot, her red heels in hand, running through the mounds of shoppers and merry children excited for the arrival of Santa Clause. It was Christmas Eve and Lisa still needed to buy a present for her boyfriend. He was flying out tonight so today was there Christmas. She ran into the jewlery shop. She wanted to get him a watch and she knew exactly which one. They werent the richest couple so money was rather scare. Lisa entered the shop and saw the watch glistening in a glass box. She picked it up and ran to the counter.
“That will be 900$” the man exclaimed blankly. Lisas face dropped, she had about 300 dollars. She clutched her necklace and then pulled it off.
“I’ll give you this and all of the money I got, please I need this watch.” she begged. The man though about it and then handed here the box.
“Merry Christmas.” he said. Lisa grasped the box and gave him a quick smile.
