Alex’s phone begins to ring. “Hey whos that?” Ted asked.

“Its mom!” Alex answered. “Oh!” Ted said.

Alex answered the phone.

“Honey where are you and Ted?” asked the voice on the other end.

“Ted is with me, we were bored at the house, so we wanted to go to the mall and meet up with some friends. Also, we were hungry so we stopped for some lunch” Alex explained.

” I was just checking” She said “I called the house and there was no answer, so I got a lil worried that’s all” She continued,

“What time are you coming home from work?” Alex asked.

“Around six or seven, this trial is a big one” She said

Ted motioned for the phone.

“Mom!” he said as he took the phone.

“Yeah, Ted” She answered.

“Do you want anything from the store?” He asked.

“No honey, I am fine. But thank you” She said.

“Bye mom, we will see you soon” With that Ted ended the call.

“Wow she trusts us huh?” Asked Ted.

Alex nodded

The two finished eating. And then made thier way back.
