He had me from the simple “Hello”. He kept me with every touch, and move. So we werent technically together but I was waiting, waiting for us to become us.
Jamie walked down the hallways looking for him. She spotted him right before the bell rang and gave him a quick wink, he looked away. Her confidence dropped a little. It was like that the rest of the day, he looked the other way. The minute she retuned hom she cried, she couldnt help herself.
A Year Later
Jamie sat at home, she changed. She was growing more and more beautiful every day. Her phone let out a few jingles.
“Hey” she said answering the call.
“Hey it Derek.” a small voice said on the other line.
“Oh hey havent talked to you in forever.”
“I want you back.” he said quietly
“What?” Jamie said confused.
“You had your chance, do you know how much you hurt me?” she asked images flodding her mind. She closed the phone. She wasnt taking a trip to the past. They could have been but he let that slide. So much could of been.
