Stony fangs

They lay on the old church’s roof. The spires towered above them. Their bodies were lit by the moon. One stirred, his smile flashed brilliantly in the light.
“Helena, you know gargoyles are live.”
“Shut up, Jasper. You are the worst liar.” Helena said as she pushed him.
“Ok now I am insulted!” He laughed.
“Liar!”
“Whatever.” He chuckled. Helena looked back up at the moon. Then at the gargoyle that sat beside her. In the light of the moon, he did seem alive. She shuddered and moved closer to Jasper. He looked down at her. His handsome face looked like an angel.
“Hel?”
“Yah.”
“Gargoyles are real. Trust me.” The way he said it made her look up. He looked serious.
“O,ok.”
“Hel?”
“Hmm”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.” Jasper reached down and kissed her. She held onto him. When they pulled away she was dizzy. “Lets go.” They began to climb down. As Helena looked once more at the gargoyle, he turned his head and bared his stony fangs in a smile. She gasped and blinked but everything was normal.
