Cookie Cutter World
I can’t take this boxed up world. Everyone like a cookie cutter, all the same. I want to be myself, And your the one to blame. I thank you so much, For opening my eyes, For letting me see the world as it is. How skinny the girls are getting, and all the teen moms in trouble. How the boys are all getting fat, and on their butts they sat, not letting the world get in the way of them and their video games. How can we live with ourselves, and how do we set ourselves apart, because it seems whenever anyone tries to escape the clutches of sameness, they are outcasted and then put back in their cookie cutter place. Are we to blame the media, or our own stupid heads? I don’t know how people make it in their cookie cutter lives, our how they can stand living in our world, our cookie cutter world.
