Very quickly Stephen realized that F was not there to be the bad guy / pig. In fact F was to serve as a guide. As to where F was taking him Stephen did not know. What he did know was that his old life as a member of the beaten masses was a horror that he never wanted to go back to. In all the ways that mattered Stephen regarded this adventure with F as the best he would ever be a part of. More to the point Stephen saw the next few days to be, alternativley, the most exciting and dangerous of his life.
