Locked Inside her Heart
Taya laughed. Now that her painting was finished she was free to enjoy life. She’d been denying herself that privilege until it was done. Not that it had been hard to do. Ever since she started she knew that this one wasn’t like any other. It was special.
She had even named it. Kana. Her sister thought she was going crazy and offered to admit her into the nearest asylum. But Taya politely, all right, she rudely declined the offer. It was so nice to be free when she painted.
She usually showed everyone her finished paintings, eager for the world to see. But not this one. No one could see this one. This one she hid from the world. Putting it in a special place. Where only she could see.
Her heart.
