The Weakest Race on Earth vol. 1
Every planet in the universe has its diseases. Whether they erupt from bacteria spewed from its innards or genetic mutations from a wide spread inhabitant, they are there. Over time, and after vain attmepts to resist the disease, evolution allows a single organism to wield the genetic amunity, allowing it to live, and breed for a longer period of time, thus creating a species unharmed by the inevitable scorn of the planet.
For the miniscule amount of time that humans have lived on the Earth, they have gained the right to thrive, and continue the evolutionary chain. Unfortunatly, they were inteligent enough to value indivdual life before life as a species.
Medicine- Genetic differences are now frowned upon, for they are not needed to fight off disease. These rare “different” people, who are actually more advanced, due to the genetic mutation, are regarded no more than anyone else, because their gift passes unnoticed. If there was no medicine, the “different” would be strong in a society of weak.
