Picture Perfect
We got to Homecoming after one extremely enjoyable meal. Wes and I had talked the whole time, hardly eating anything we were so enthralled. Why was talking to him so easy? It was easier talking to him then even Andy had been sometimes. Well, maybe, but in a different way.We covered everything, School, friendships, exs, after-school stuff we did, interests, sports, my aMAZing dress (He complimented it several times, his eyes not usually quite to my face but I don’t blame him, it was certainly quite the dress) and even briefly mentioned marriage and our beliefs about going all the way. (Very briefly and we both agree waiting until marriage is the best way. I was so glad, finally a guy who was sensitive!!!)
When we did get to homecoming there was another picture to take, with a pretty backdrop of a moonlit night. Wes took my hand as we walked forward in front of the backdrop.
“Alright, now pose,” said the photographer.
Wes pulled me close, my back to his chest, and wrapped his arms closely around me.
