Samanth looked at her half-packed bag with guilt as she opened her door.
“Suprise!” A gaggle of college-aged girls crowded into Samantha’s small room.
“We’re all gonna miss you so much!” A blonde girl said.
“Aww Sophie I’m gonna miss you too…I’ll try to call you guys everyday. I’m only going to be away for a month…or two.”
The girls laughed. Summer was here and all the girls were going somewere different; Sophie was going to her lake house, Tammy and Laura were working. And of course, Samantha, working at a summer camp in Maine. She was goning to miss all of them. But she was going to secretly miss Mark the most. They went out for two months then broke up. Samantha still liked him, even though she didn’t like to admit it. Two months without him would be hard…
The girls all left and Samantha finished packing her large bag. She heard a knock on the door. She sighed. Mark stepped in.
“Samantha, I’m going to miss you this summer. I want us to be together. So…will you be my girlfriend?”
“Yes.”
