This is very opinionated and interesting, but I have to wonder about what you stated in the fourth paragraph: Their brilliant ideas will override our brilliant imaginations. This is, of course, simply my opinion, but don’t you have to have a brilliant imagination to think up brilliant ideas? And what you’re saying about “book-smart” people seems a bit stereotypical: Thinking by facts doesn’t mean that you will “aid the end of humanity” or that you don’t think freely.
