Skating down the ice hockey rink as fast as he could Iggy took a shot on the net, it was deflected by the opposing teams goalie.

The score was tie 3-3, third period. Tension was building. All eyes were on Iggy, the teams captain.

Iggy moved right, then left around his opponent, the crowd was on it’s feet now, chanting,’ Iggy, Iggy, Iggy”, over and over.

The announcer was saying.. “The young Iggy Pastoric, has really come into his own this season, he’s got the puck, he shoots.. he scores.”

Iggy couldn’t believe it himself when the puck went into the net with such ease.

His teamates all slapped him on the back. But there was still fifteen seconds on the clock.

The other team had the puck, the defenseman raced down the rink with practiced skill, he took a shot, “He scores,” the announcer screamed.

Two seconds on the clock, Iggy got the puck, slapshot.. in the net.. no under the goalies pad.. this game was going into overtime.
