Trustin' Tristan

After math class, I immediately walked over to Lexi, my best friend, to share the news that I had just recently gathered.
“Lexi, Tristan knows that I like Jared!” I whisper-exclaimed.
“Oh My Gosh! How?” Lexi asked.
“The poem about him!” I cried, “I posted it on that web site, remember?”
Lexi’s eyes widened, “Well, that was our fault for telling him about the web site in the first place.”
“Not really,” I disagreed, “See, it was my fault for putting Jared’s name at the end of the poem!”
“I wouldn’t worry about it,” Lexi told me.
“Why not?” I asked incredulously.
“I trust Tristan,” Lexi admitted.
I buried my face in my hands in frustration of my secret getting out.
“You know what scares me?” I asked my face still in my hands.
“What?” Lexi asked.
“I trust him, too,” I was surprised with my answer.

At lunch, I saw Tristan and Rider talking quietly.
They turned around ad when they saw me, they both started to laugh.
I knew Tristan had told Rider my secret and that I couldn’t trust Tristan at all.
