Twain & Tesla: This Time It's Farcical

“But, where are you going now?” Asked Twain, who felt this afternoon trip had gone on long enough, surely it was about time in the series to go to Milliways and get a decent meal inside them.

“We’re going to get a female author, and make sure the next trip isn’t quite as sexist as the last few have been.”

“That’s just an excuse isn’t it Tesla, I heard you were quite the ladies man back in Croatia.”

“How dare you, I have entirely noble motives for recruiting a female member of staff, if not just to make up for our loss of Poe, who’s definitely dead, by the way”

“You’re not going to get a Mills and Boon author are you?”

“Not now you’ve said that I’m not. I was thinking about Emily Bronte, I reckon she’d like to wuther my heights”

“That’s the worst thing I’ve ever heard anyone say, er, you don’t suppose her sisters might be interested in me?

“Not a chance Twain, not a chance.”
