If it makes you feel any better, ‘nouvelle’ is the feminine form of the adjective with the direct translation being ‘new’. Masculine would be ‘nouveau’. ‘The News’ would be, in French, ‘Les Nouvelles’. See, your cute, catchy name actually does translate correctly to ‘New Bardot’, which I would acclaim as terribly accurate were I to be flirtatious.
