Cirrus (7)

The hunter laughed.”Oh, I know. We’ll just have to take that chance, I suppose.” He gripped my arm, walking slowly backwards.
“What are you doing? We’re gonna get shot!” I wrenched my arm away.
“No, we are not.”
“What? How?” I stared at him, beginning to regret my desicion to come with him- after all, he had a gun too.
“Because,” he said, turning me around sharply, “I found this little beauty running around the woods.”
“Cirrus!” I gasped. He was there, tetherd to a tree, watching me in that funny way of his, as if to say, what are you doing? . I started towards him, but the hunter pulled me back.
“No!” He said. “Act as if you cannot see him! They can’t know he’s here, or they’ll shoot!”
“Oh. So what do we do?”
“Well, I was going to leave that up to you. You see, I can’t ride.”
