Dear Diary,

I’m so glad I did get away from my father, he hurt me so much. After I graduated from high school I went to college with full scholarship and proved him wrong.

Now I am one of the most successful lawyers. I have won several womens rights trials as well as family cases including abuse.

I’ve helped many kids who were just like me. I accept foster children into my home often and show them what its like to have someone who truly cares for you. I’ve even adopted a couple of them, Katherine and Christina.

I often visit my fathers grave, more out of duty than anything else though.

I still don’t know what happened to my mother, though I understand why she left. I still wish she hadn’t left me alone with him. I continue searching for her, if only for closure.
