the people looked like angels

The rest of the class was a haze. Screw Smith. Jeremy was better.Next was lunch. I was going to sit with the Queen Bees. And Jeremy. And Smith. Uh-oh.

I walked downstairs after class to get my lunch out of my locker. 6-24-3. I opened my combo with ease. I felt a slender finger tapping me as I got my lunch. I turned around and Maddy faced me.
“Um hi.” I said.
“I’m supposed to take you to lunch. You know so you don’t get lost and look stupid.” She replied giving me a scathing look. She obviously couldn’t believe that Abby invited me. I couldn’t blame her-I couldn’t believe it. We walked juxpositioned yet not saying a word. We finally walked into the caf.
“Here. This is where the nerds sit. Thats where the art freaks/drama freaks/ freaky freaks sit. Thats where the wannabes sit. That’s where the Asian Mafia sits. And this is where We sit.” Maddy looked up to the table as if it was heaven. It wasn’t. But the people sitting there looked like angels.

“What’s with midwest tumbleweed sitting here?”
