I woke up to the smell of delicious, grilled chicken.
“Dinner’s ready!!” Emily called out from the kitchen.
I ran into the kitchen, my Dad behind me, and ate to our heart’s content.
I’ve never had a better dinner!
We all were laying on the couch. I laughed to myself a little and yelled at my Dad, jokingly.
“You marry her! You marry her right now!”
We all laughed.
“You’re sweet, Tom.” Emily said. “It’s good to have you around.”
“Thanks a lot.” I smiled.
I stayed up for a while longer, Dad and Emily went to bed, and I just thought about too many things until one came to mind.

I wonder how she is doing…
