The Guardian Council
When Antares entered The Great Hall, light seemed to pour gloriously through the enormous open doors. His blazing red hair seemed to radiate heat like the sun. He looked invincible. His muscular body towered over his foes, and he struck down any enemy who stood in his path. His eyes were gold, and shined like the moon. Everyone was silent as he took his place in his father’s chair.
How can we lose this war?
Jack was impressed. Antares had muscled up since he’d seen him last. He wasn’t a hulk, but his muscular shape was solid.
The council consisted of several major groups: The Aquarians, the Infernos, the Warlocks and the Starbenders. There were more groups, but these were the majority of the Guardians.
“We have news from the west, my lord.” one of the Infernos said, “Vulcan and his army are marching straight through Stervia… the Stervian armies have been obliterated, and needless to say they’ve lost their greatest warrior, your father…”
The Great Hall was silent.
