Where Dreams Go ( Place Challenge)

The subways doors popped open with a hiss and the hustle and bustle of people as they shuffled off the train reveberated through the air. Climbing up the stairs out of the grimy underground, she breathed in the fresh air. There lingered a scent of honey nuts and roasting hot dogs. But all of it fell away as she was nearly blinded by the thousand billboards flashing at her.

“If I can make it there, I’ll make it anywhere,” she hummed to herself playfully

Yes, she was here. Everywhere she looked crowds of people rushed passed and cars honked. The cold wind brushed against her face, but she pressed on. This was her chance and her dream. She hurried past the spectacular billboards and rushed off into a side street. She checked the address one more time. A bell above the door chimed as she entered studio.

“Alright everyone who’s auditioning fill out this paper,” a man ordered

She settled into a a metal folding chair and began to write.
She couldn’t believe her dream of singing on Broadway might come true.
