New Customer

She rubbed her hands nervously and kept glancing around her before she crossed the street so she could have fortune told. She was new to this town and felt like she was the odd man out. What she needed was to know if she ever feel accepted or just run away again. Her trainers stopped on the doorstep. She scuffed her worn sole on the ground before entering. Once she stepped through the door, it was like entering another world, one of magic and mystery. The girl peered from behind her red hair that fell in lazy ringlets around her freckled face. Timidly, with her arms wrapped tightly against her, she ventured in deeper, her shoes squeaked softly on the black tile.
“Hello, anybody here?” She said her voice barely above a whisper. She chewed her bottom lip and tasted the cherry lip balm. Her green cat-like eyes scanned her surroundings with mischevious glinting though her personna displayed the her frightened side. The dim light cast weird shadows everywhere. Maybe she’s not here. She thought.(hope this’ ok)
