I love that we have a story growing out of different people’s stories here. Very nice addition. I liked the aspect of the character not being attractive enough to really turn heads, a nice change from the norm of the gorgeous heroine and dashing hero.

Every story has a beginning. I liked the detail about how no pirate begins a pirate. I also liked the detail about how she’s not the best looking. As THX said, that’s a welcome change from the norm.
