How could a man in a women’s dress be passed as a lady in front of other people? I guess, for the sake of comedy I’ll have to swallow it, nice farce building here. I’ve accepted far worse for the sake of a laugh. Unless of course he’s done up exquisitely with make up and cups and such, I might have missed that description in an earlier ficlet.
Oh Tad, no, no, no! We don’t mean ‘not a lady’ as in ‘is a man’. At least, I know I meant ‘not a lady’ as in ‘a commoner’ or ‘not noble born’. I know it’s confusing, cause I’m a dude writing in first person, but I sequeled something written by a woman. Maybe I should have clarified.
I enjoy your entries into series because you often introduce great new threads for us to enjoy. He is no more a lord than she a lady. Wonder what foul plot is running ashore.
