My Youth: December, My 1st Winter II

Soon it becomes obvious that they like each other, and they start discussing burrows, and where the best places to have them are, and numerous other such things that at the moment, I have no interest of. I tire easily of Naira and Kerem now, and I spend more time with Unique. She is quiet and shy, but hates being alone. She is small, like me, though she is 7½ inches long, longer than me, but I am wider, and stronger, and faster. She reminds me of a small thin leaf, or flower petal.
I talk to Kerem. Naira and Unique are both busy, Naira with preparations to leave with Kerem when spring comes soon, and Unique helping her mother with something. I, for one, have nothing to do. We are in a sheltered bit of rock and enjoying the pleasure of a little free time.
