He slipped the checkerboard belt on over his faded jeans and pulled on a white button up. The stereo was blasting Fishbone.
“Don’t you think you’re taking this a little too far,” she asked as she tried not to laugh.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about” he answered as he danced in placed.
She rolled her eyes-then got up and kissed him.
“You’re really excited aren’t you?” she smiled
“Ofcourse” he answered
She flipped her hair, dyed raven black in the mirror and applied some eyeliner. She then snuck close to the sound system and switched on Fall Out Boy.
“Now, who’s taking it too far?” He asked smirking
“What?” she laughed as she feined an innocent look.
He slipped his arm around her waste and bent down to kiss her.
“Were gonna be late for the show,” She said-noticing the time.
“I know.” he replied- giving her one last nuzzle.
She snuggled into him. It was silly and cliched, but it was true. Fads and scenes come and go, but love was timeless.
