She wakes up to her alarm clock. 7:00 A.M. “Byron, why does school have to start so early?” He stretches then goes back to sleep. “Lucky!” Lily takes a shower then heads down stairs to the kitchen. Karen’s sittingat the kitchen table in her pajamas. There are two plates of eggs and bacon on the table. Lily sits down and eats. Breakfast is quiet. When Lily is done she puts her dishes in the sink and runs back upstairs. She grabs her bowl from the night before, her keys and her back pack then goes back downstairs. Drops the bowl off in the sink, hugs her mom and takes off out the door.
