Graduation
My white gown flowed down the sandstone walkway, as I paced my way to the altar. The tassel on my hat bounce up and down as my heels carried me. I stood my place in the line up. With my class, making sure my footing wasnt too deep in place. My teacher vice rang out loud and strong.
“A few words from one of my many students.” she said turning to me with a nod. I lossened my footing from the wine red carpet as I made way over to the podium.
“We have had downs this year, and we have had our ups and through all the twists and turn we made it through together. This class together has deepened our roots at this school among all of the previous graduating classes. We all have grown close, some more then others but I know one thing. We may have differences at times but the class of 2008 made it through all these year together. May we all be blessed with long lifes, health, and prosperity. And we will always and forever be the graduating class of 2008” Then, as if on cue, millions of hats flew into the air.
