You seemed to be trying to keep that this was just sparring a surprise, but I don’t think it worked very well. Biggest tipoff was probably that it was a guy and a girl fighting, but both were well trained… not common in everyday scenarios. The abundance of blocks without interleaved counterattacks seems uncommon for any sort of serious fight, as well.

Still, props for well written-ness.
