Animals belong outside
“But Drew – you just can’t kill her. It’s not right!”
“It’s a damn dog, Robin. You can’t let an animal do something like that. A dog ain’t been trained to behave properly got to be put down! She’ll just go and ruin something again, and we can’t afford to keep her anyway.”
Brandy jumped on top of Drew as he waved his shotgun toward her chest. Justin screamed from the doorway. Brandy playfully jumped on Drew’s legs as he loaded the gun.
“No, Dad,” Justin screamed. “She didn’t mean it. She won’t do it again. She doesn’t understand!”
“Robin, take the boy inside,” he screamed again, pointing his shotgun towards Brandy’s head.
“No, Drew!” She knocked the shotgun from his hands, motioned for Justin to follow her, and ran inside the house. She locked the door behind her and then ran to the front door to lock it.
“Bitch!” Drew screamed, the snow falling around him. He ran his fingers through his hair, and walked to the door. “You’d better let me in, woman!”
“Animals belong outside!” she screamed.
