The End
“Haha, yeah I remember that!” Rachel spoke into the phone.
“Yeahh..” I said, reliving the glory of that day. “Alright Rach, I got to go – I think I hear the baby crying.”
“Okay, I’ll call you later then.”
The instant I put down the phone, the pitter-patter of tiny feet were heard closing in on my position.
“Mommy!”
“Hi Ember, hunny! What are you doing?”
“Playing catch with Daddy – he can’t even keep up with me anymore!”
“Wow! That’s pretty good for a little six year old! Tell Daddy that he needs to come in here so we can help you with your telekinesis, alright babe?”
“Okay.” she ran off to find Shade.
I grabbed a bottle and was heading over to the baby room when I passed a mirror. I admired my hair, my figure, my clothes – I looked as if I were only twenty.
“Heh heh.. I still got it.”
