“You know I love you Hayden, it’s just..”

He was becoming pretty scared. This was hard for me too, though, my heart felt like it was going to burst.

“It’s just what?” he asked, though his voice seemed a bit weary.

“It’s just with you.. and with Matt.. I jus-”

“MATT?!”

“I love you, you know that, and I would never do anything to hurt you, it’s just.. just..”

I took a deep breath and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

“Goodbye.”

A tear rolled down my cheek as I ran down the stairs and outside.

But where can I go now?

I looked around, and I could hear Hayden doing something in the house, he was doing it quite loudly.

There’s a golf course just up this road. I can hang out there for a while.
