That day
She cries herself to sleep at night. Her friends have come and gone. Her boyfriends have come and gone. She really never feels at home. There’s always a constant reminder that she will never be good enough. Why? That, my friends, is a question she asks herself everyday. Maybe because her friends have never stayed or her family has never stayed. Whatever it is, it holds her back. She use to fight this wall, use to make a real good dent in it. But now, since it all happened, she leaves it there. It stays there and she never feels the need to knock it down. It was normal day you know. Just like any other day. She went to school, sat in the same seat as she always had. Ate lunch with the same crowd, and even changed into the same gym clothes as normal. But when it happened, her heart sank, her body went numb, and she lost vision of anything that followed it. “This is the end,” she thought to herself. “Why me?”
