There is something mysterious and wonderous about these three words. They can mean so much at one point, and almost nothing at another.

It’s funny. These are the only 3 words that when combined are subject to almost anything. Time, compassion, hatred, actions, belief… the list goes on and on.

It doesnt seem right said any other way. There’s no alternative to the phrase. Very odd, since love is a common feeling among humans. There is not another phrase that shares the same unique qualities as “I love you”.

You can describe it with so many words. We’ve written about it for thousands of years, and yet we feel we are drowned by its sheer complexity. The feeling just doesn’t die. It comes and goes… like an old friend, love does. You can be washed away one minute, and completely ignore it the next.

They are the only 3 words that when said passionately, can make your heart melt into a soup filled with all your emotions…

It sets so many of us free, yet leaves just as many imprisoned…
