I don’t usually like to read
fictional stories that people wrote.

I think
there’s something odd
about buying a book
to read a bunch of fancily written lies.

I do like fantasy fiction,
however.
It seems my brain is hypocritial.

I much prefer to read true stories,
even if they’re simple ones
about how you went to McDonalds
and ate in
because you never do,
then were surprised
about how nice the atmosphere actually is.

True stories are treasures.
