The seconds on the clock tick away as I waited for my shift to end. Tonight was so special and I wanted to get home and get ready for our night togather.

I knew that Shawn was planning a very special night, because as the deliveries kept comming at work there was no flowers, ballons, and or teddy bear and candy that came for me.

I tryed to put it out of mind, telling my self the apartment would be filled with all kinds of sweet things. I could not get out of the parking garrage at work quick enough. I prayed that there was no traffic. I turned on the radio in the car to listen to all the Valentine Day music being played on my favorite radio station. I check my e-mail and voice messages on my phone yet there was nothing from Shawn. I started to get a little tick off as I saw roses and ballons lining the car windows of men going home to their special someone. I put it out of my head, and as I drove up Shawn car was not there. I called him and got no answer. Finally my phone rang and it was a message….
