Lie

As Ben walked out, Heather slammed the door closed and reached for the lock.
Ben: Don’t lock it.
Heather: Ugh.
She stood to look at herself in the mirror. Her forehead was now bruised and burning from the desk and the toliet. She covered it with makeup and headed out to the dining room. Ben was seated at the head.
Heather: Where’s my dad?
Ben: He is not coming. Now about this Blake thing. Since your father said it was ok, you can go, but I’m coming.
Heather: That’s not fair.
Ben: You tend to get injured often.
Heather: What?! That’s because you’re always hurting me.
Ben: You lie again. I need to tell him about your lying problem.
Heather: I don’t have one! All I have is a bodyguard who enjoys my pain!
Ben: ENOUGH ! We are not talking about this.
Ben glared at her in a way that was frightening. She took her seat and the butler came out red-faced. Ben sighed and took out a twenty.
Ben: You heard nothing.
The butler repeated after him while taking the twenty.
Butler: I heard nothing.
