Rude and Crude Day (part 2)
There was no signature of the person who left is so she closed it and stormed to class.
It bothered her that someone would do such a mean thing, she wondered if it was that mean Billy Watson who hated her after she told everyone about their bad date.
She could not concentrate, the card was sticking out of her notebook, Ms. Ridgefield was asking questions about the lesson, yet Carolyn was not paying attention.
“Carolyn could you tell the class what was the affect on Americans during the depression?”
Carolyn mind was way out the window, she continued to stair off in space waiting for the answer to pop inside her head as to who was calling her a liar. She pulled out the card not hearing Ms.Ridgefield ask her a question about the lesson she continued to ignore her.
“Carolyn Johnson, what are you looking at?”
“Please share with us what has your full attention?”
“Ms. Ridgefield, I am sorry, what was the question?”
Valentine Day was known to her as Rude and Crude Day.
