I love looking at the stars. Did you know that the light you see in the sky left its star years ago? Stars are anomalous creatures in that way. They evade our grasp of understanding. There is so much we, as humans, cannot understand, but we try. Time is the result of that trying.

We are born, we live, we die. That is something every human knows. Since we have a life that ends, we are impatient creatures by nature. We cannot wait around for something that will most certainly happen eventually. So we created a system of numbers to which we’ve bestowed tremendous power.

But time isn’t what’s powerful. It’s naive, if you ask me. How can we try and take eternity and shove it in a box? It just shows how very unaware we are. We can’t just sense the powers that be, the things that have gone on, are going on, and will go on, even though they exist in every second. We’ve created a present in which humans find difficulty living.

So what is time?

Well, I think it’s an illusion.
