Throughout the day, both Hayden and Matt tried to kiss me, to the confusion of the people around us. But they did anyhow, and school flew by. At the end of the day as I was chatting with my friends, Hayden walked up to me in that cool little way that he has.
“Hey, ready to go?”
I looked at my friends for approval, but they kept looking at him and all but drooling.
“Yeah, we can leave. See ya guys!” I called to them as he grabbed my hand and we walked out of school. I could feel their eyes still on him as we left.
“How was your day?” I asked as casually as I could.
“Dreadful knowing that you weren’t all mine.” he turned and looked me in the eye.
“Well you can change that.” I kissed him.
I felt a vibration in my back pocket where my cell phone was. I was going to answer it, but I knew it was probably Matt, and he’s the last person needed to interrupt the conversation right now.
