Thoughtful for a dog… sounds like he (well, assuming it’s the alpha male, and these dogs are like real canines) is scraping up against the edges of sentience.

Voice is something I’ve been struggling with. This site is good food, a way to work on it.

Yeah, he’s a dog, and he’s wondering who he is. I walk dogs for the humane society in my area. They’re pretty smart. Sometimes you catch a glimpse of a mind.
