“why do i do this to myself?” kayla wondered as she limped down the hallway, “i knew there was a reason i don’t wear the shoes often” yet she was taking the long way to her locker. she was on the total wrong side of the school.
“God, i must walk 5 times what i normally have to when i walk this way, I am so stupid!”
just as she continued to walk down the hallway, she saw the reason she had walked this way to begin with.
oh my god, she thought to herself
“see ya in algebra tomorrow, marcus!” she smiled cheerfully, as if algebra 2 is something to smile about.
“oh, bye kayla!”
as he was out of sight her mind kept jumping from her sore feet to marcus.
oh my god i love him, she thought about marcus, he acts like he likes me but i still don’t know, she continued to ponder.
she got home, slung her bag onto couch, and sat down
he said bye to me, it was worth it, she thought as she slowly removed her shoe revealing the quarter sized blisters that had accumulated on her heels,
yep, totally worth it…
