This is the second time in a month that I hear about Dream Theater. I think I should go check them out already. Great picks overall, and I agree with your assessment on that Genesis song.

I think that you are cool, even though you like Rush. I’m from Canada, and I don’t like Rush. I think I could get in trouble for saying that. I’m allowed to hate Cline, but not Rush.
Can you please help me fiqure out the appeal? I just can’t get past Geddy Lee’s voice. It hurts me.

Geddy’s voice is much more tolerable now that age has reduced his ability (and maybe desire) to hit the shrieky high notes he could hit 30 years ago. He still sounds like a woman, though.

Yes, he does sound like a woman. It is the shrieky stuff I don’t like. Maybe I’ll give some of their new stuff a listen.
