Revelation
Andrea walked slowly; there weren’t anymore parties to get ready for.
“Andrea!” Who would be calling her name, which was practically taboo in the school now? David.
“Hey,” he said, breathlessly.
“Um, hi. Shouldn’t you be with Bella?” she said quietly, although both of them knew she wanted him to stay.
“Things aren’t going too well between us.”
They walked in silence, David sneaking peaks at Andrea, contemplating his next move.
“Andrea, I have to ask you something…would you like to go to homecoming with me?”
Fury blazed through Andrea’s body.
“Would I like to go with you? Oh, I did, but you had to ruin my life and ask out little Ms. Bella! Why is it that when I want something, I can never get it! I suppose you’re asking me out on a dare, huh?” She stood there panting.
“Well, the truth is, I liked you, but I didn’t think I had a chance, so I got as close to you as I could get. I went out with Bella. But, she’s really a big snob.”
They stood in silence again, wondering what would happen.
