I walked out of the bathroom and started a path to Mrs. Bannister’s room. I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard my name being yelled from the direction of the office. “I just want to know if Sarah Zerod goes to this school? I ran to the office and stopped in the doorway. I saw the longish black and green hair rumpled from his hand running through it in frustration. “I can see I’m not going to get an answer any time soon.” He turned around and stopped. I let a smirk cross over my face. After a couple of seconds letting his shock sink in, I finally spoke.

“You weren’t really going to give up that easy were you?”

He smiled that beautiful smile of his that stopped my heart and closed the distance between us in one stride. He picked me up and twirled me around before kissing me full on the lips.

All I could think was, ‘My soul mate is finally here.’
