Step 2: Act Casual
As we sat down to eat at a T.G.I. Fridays, emilia look at me strangely.
“Yes?” I asked.
“What happened at the security check?” She asked.
I motioned for her to come to an unpopulated corner of the terminal.
I dragged the back of my shirt to reveal the dark dark tattoo of my wings.
I heard a sharp intake of breath from Emilia.
“Wow.” She said. “Ouch.”
“Yeah.”
We went back to our table and ate our food. Afterwards, We went to our terminal to get on our flight.
Right when we got up from our seats, I heard a womans voice.
“Stop! Get off of me!”
I turned around to see a man, half drunk, hassling a young woman.
“C’mon, lady.” He said. “Lemme buy you a drink.”
These are the kind of people I hate.
I tapped Emilia.
“I’ll be right back.” I said.
Making my way into a crowd, I rolled up my sleeve to reveal another tattoo. One that I haven’t used in a while.
