i know it’s really lame to comment on your own story, but just a note:
“kamaria” means ‘darkness’ in japanese. … and the japanese actually (mythologically, of course) discovered the vampire.

lol, the comments she hears are silly (in a good way) :P I think its good to have depth in a fantasy story. Just ‘cause it’s fantasy doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to make people believe it :P
